The Liugong CLG842 is a mid-size Chinese wheel loader, and its bucket tooth is listed by DM as the 842 tooth with a wide tip in ZL50 style. TTRMCO supplies CLG842 teeth and adapters in both DM and ZF brands; the ZF tooth is available in Normal and Special grades.

Machine class

Liugong lists the original CLG842 at about 13.8 tonnes with a 2.3 m³ reference bucket, and Construction Equipment Guide gives the CLG842 II about 13.7 tonnes and 2.37 m³ heaped. So the 842 sits between small 3-tonne class loaders such as the ZL30 and full 5-tonne machines such as the CLG856. That is why its tooth differs from both.

Parts and brands

DM's special-alloy list gives the 842 Special tooth at about 5.65 kg, which is a good sanity check against a worn tooth you are holding.

Normal or Special?

Not exactly. The DM list describes it as a wide-tip ZL50 style tooth, but it is a separate item. Compare the old tooth before ordering.

How do I know the tooth is worn out?
